Jenny HewsonBetty and Gordon Moore Center for Science and Oceans , Conservation International Jenny’s research focuses on monitoring changes in ecosystem extent and condition using remote sensing technologies, especially remote sensing methods for improved deforestation detection, land use change, and habitat condition. Jenny concentrates on Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) activities and the development of national forest monitoring systems for REDD+. In this project she will co-lead two work packages to develop the sampling design for the project, and assess carbon storage impacts resulting from different land use change scenarios |
