We are recruiting three 2-year Malagasy research assistant posts in social sciences/economics (based at ESSA in Madagascar, but working closely with Bangor University). Two will work with Neal Hockley, Bruno Ramamonjisoa and Mahesh Poudyal in WP6 on livelihoods and economic valuation - for job spec etc click here and one will work with Patrick Ranjatson and Kate Schreckenberg in WP8 on institutional analysis - for job spec click here.
We are looking for good fieldworkers who can take the initiative and also want to get involved in research design, data analysis, publishing etc. Would suit Malagasy graduates keen to pursue a career in research and would be excellent preparation for a PhD. English is not required but there will be ample opportunity to develop English language skills.
